The Mills Collection stems from a collection of photos taken in the textile mills of Lawrence Massachusetts where generations of my family gave up their joy for the struggle of the " Bread and Roses " era factory existence. The photos were in a month long gallery show for the Lawrence History center before the poetry was added.
